Vanille Fudge

December 2008 I've got a package with yummie fudge from a friend of mine. Thats why I decided to cook some by my onw. It is really easy and defenitely for the sugar lovers.

Fudge has to cool over night before cutted in squares. I wrapped mine in clear sheet and put it in a silver box for a present.

Here is my recipe:

500 g sugar
320 ml condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavour
1 drop rum flavour

Mix everything together in a large jar and heat it until the sugar is completely liquid. Then heat it up to 115°C (240°F) until bubbles occure and the mixture gets creamy and has a light brown colour. Put the fudge mixture in a buttered form and cool it over night.
